        By the time we started the tournament last night there was only 18 players, so, instead of the usual $250 buy-in and 7,500 in chips, I suggested that we do $350 buy-in and 10,000 so we could have a bigger prize pool. Everybody agreed so thats what we did. Over the course of the first hou

        The River Room added a new twist its' tournaments yesterday. Instead of just the first player out getting the option of the re-buy, each table was given 1 re-buy. If the first player on your table refuses the re-buy then that table does not get a re-buy. Make sense? Yes, Good.

        A very short blog about last nights tournament. Limped in a few hands and missed and by the time we reached the second blind level (50/100) I was only left with 3375 out of the 5000 starting stack. I am in the small blind and I look down at QQ. UTG raises to 300, Pizza Dan calls as do I.

        Played a $500+$50 Super Sat at the Rio on this day. 380 players and a $3000 starting stack. 18 seats to the main event were being given away on this day. The blind structure in these events is very aggressive so there is no sitting back and waiting for hands in this event. You must play.
